| | Bearpen Trail is located quite a long drive from Boone but it is a really good trail. There are many hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Bearpen Trail sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is November. For the period of the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Bearpen Trail. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Bearpen Trail night low temperatures |
all through the wintertime are in the 20's.
Get dripping wet paddling on New River - South Fork. Rocky Hollow is a magnificent place to explore nearby. There's so much to do here at Bearpen Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Hurricane Campground is a nice location
| for that. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Bearpen Trail in Grayson County, Virginia is a perfect place for getting out.
Virginia has so much to offer nature lovers. It's a fine idea to stop at Little Wilson Creek, it's near Bearpen Trail, and you can stay the night at Grayson Highlands State Park.
