We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Belfast Trail in Rockbridge County, Virginia is a great place to go. Belfast Trail is located quite a long drive from Lynchburg but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. Hiking here in Virginia is a must. Hunting Spring is a picturesque place to explore while you're at Belfast Trail, and you can stay the night at Yogi Bear's Jellystone At Natural Bridge. If you're     here, you might as well go to Sulphur Spring Hollow. For the period of the summertime at Belfast Trail highs are typically in the 80's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, regularly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Belfast Trail are in the 20's. Belfast Trail is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. That right there is a load of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. Sulphur Spring is a magnificent local attraction, and paddling on Buffalo Creek is so much fun. James River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by.
