  We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Casters Trail in Franklin County, Virginia is a really good place to spend some time. Casters Trail is a pretty wet place usually with a large amount of rainfall; October is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. There's whitewater on North Mayo for all you thrill seekers; a pleasant site to camp here at Casters Trail is Goose Dam Campground.
You can run the rapids of Mayo River - North Fork in close proximity to Casters Trail, and Jones Dam has great water scenery.
    Why not camp at Indian Heritage RV Park while you're here at Casters Trail, and Booker T Washington National Monument is one of the destinations that are brilliant to have a look at close by. For the duration of the months of summer here at Casters Trail, high temperatures usually
reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Casters Trail drop into the 20's.
This river is so good. There's some flowing water nearby, Muddy Fork is a stream you can stop by during your stay, and folks from Martinsville love to come here. A visit to Virginia is not complete without some hiking. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site.
