Casters Trail is a pretty wet place usually with a large amount of rainfall; October is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. There's whitewater on North Mayo for all you thrill seekers; a pleasant site to camp here at Casters Trail is Goose Dam Campground. You can run the rapids of Mayo River - North Fork in close proximity to Casters Trail, and Jones Dam has great water scenery. |
