| | It's a long drive from Boone to Clark Mountain Trail but it is a good trail. At Clark Mountain Trail through the summertime months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Clark Mountain Trail overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. Buzzard Den Branch is a perfect spot to check out; there's whitewater on Tennessee Laurel Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
