| on Green Cove Creek. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Smyth County of Virginia, Comers Creek Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
Hurricane Creek is a perfect local stream; while you're here, you might as well check out Slabtown Hollow. Camping at Raccoon Branch Campground is always a perfect experience; some of the water close by flows, like Shanty Branch.
Comers Creek Trail sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most; November is the month with the least moisture. | |
