  Virginia is a good place for outdoors people. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Camping at Comers Creek Trail is good fun, Raccoon Branch Campground is a good local campground.
All through the warm days of summer here at Comers Creek Trail, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Comers Creek
    Trail drop into the 20's. Why not camp at Hurricane Campground since you're here at Comers Creek Trail, and a fine place to go to is Slabtown Hollow. Comers Creek Trail is a very long way away from civilization and It's always fun to hike here.
There's no way somebody can get
bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hurricane Creek is a stream that you may bump into while you're here; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green Cove Creek. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Comers Creek Trail in Smyth County, Virginia is the outdoors at it's best. This river is a great place to visit. Shanty Branch flows through this region, and a splendid spot for whitewater paddling is Big Wilson Creek.
Comers Creek Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls through July; November is the month with the least moisture.
