Furnace Mountain Trail

  A visit to Virginia is not complete without some hiking. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains, it's a great hiking area. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Furnace Mountain Trail in Rockingham County, Virginia is a good choice. Furnace Mountain Trail is located quite a long drive from Harrisonburg but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it.
You can run the rapids of Moormans River next to Furnace Mountain
    Trail. There's so much to do here at Furnace Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Loft Mountain Campgrounds is a wonderful spot for that. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever wanna return
back home again. Don't leave Furnace Mountain Trail without first paying a visit to Blackrock Springs. Furnace Mountain Trail is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Misty Mountain Camp Resort is a magnificent local campground. Whiteoak Run is a stream that you may come across while you're here. If you're here, you might as well pop by Luck Hollow, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Shenandoah River - South Fork. There are plenty of people from  
Grottoes here at Furnace Mountain Trail. The annual rain here at Furnace Mountain Trail is about average. All through the month of August you get the most rain around here while January is typically the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Furnace Mountain Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is a tad chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's.
