  George Trail is in a quite desolate area and it is one of many great trails in this area. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Virginia. Summertime at George Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at George Trail fall into the 10's.
Coming to this river is always a good idea. You can run the rapids of Jackson River close to George Trail. George Trail is brilliant
    enough to spend more than a day at, Blowing Springs Campground is a brilliant local campground, and there's whitewater on Back Creek - Jackson Tributary for all you adrenaline kick people. All the water falling down from the sky makes George Trail a wet place; the wettest month
of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest.
A magnificent location in the neighborhood of George Trail is Coles Hollow; camping at McClintic Point Primitive Campground is always a good experience.
