| | Gimlet Ridge Trail is a long drive away from Winchester but what a great place for hiking it is. In the Blue Ridge Mountains there are many great hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. So much cool stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just phenomenal. Camping at Low-Water Bridge Campground is always a great experience It's always great to have a look at Greasy Falls. A nice place to camp here at Gimlet Ridge Trail is Gooney Creek Campgrounds, and paddling on Gooney Run is so much fun.

precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. A journey to Shenandoah National Park is recommended, and soar down the rapids of Passage Creek in a kayak.
