Hiked Goshen Pass from swinging bridge along Maury R. Turning left and steeply up To Chambers Ridge, and returned via the Hunters Tr. much of the trail poorly maintained and eroded. Nice variety, and very easy once on Chambers Ridge. Trail signs leave something to be desired.

Pretty far from Staunton-Waynesboro you find Goshen Pass Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. This ski mountain is so great. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Calfpasture River, and a delightful place to camp here at Goshen Pass Trail is Long's Campground. Chambers Hollow is a brilliant place to go to close by; in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, |
you can always go whitewater paddling on Laurel Run.
