| | Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? if you happen to be in Augusta County of Virginia, Hankey Mountain Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Staunton Dam has wonderful water scenery and it's in the vicinity of Hankey Mountain Trail, and why not camp at North River Campground if you're here at Hankey Mountain Trail. This part of Virginia is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. is the driest. If you came for an overnight stay Stokesville Park Recreational is a perfect site to camp, and let's not forget White Oak Run which is a stream that you may stumble upon while here. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great planet it
| would be. Hankey Mountain Trail is a location with many visitors from Staunton-Waynesboro. There's some flowing water nearby, Flat Run is a stream you can check out while here, and paddling on Jennings Branch is so much fun. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Hankey Mountain Trail get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hankey Mountain Trail. Nearby Jennings Gap is a delightful place to go if you're at Hankey Mountain Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Little River - North R. Tributary.
