| | Hollow Trail is a very long way away from civilization and hiking it is great fun any time. In the Blue Ridge Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and if you happen to be in Rappahannock County of Virginia, Hollow Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. With so many outdoors activities available in Virginia you'll never get bored.
Hollow Trail is near Buck Hollow which is certainly worth taking a look at, |
and soar down the rapids of Thornton River in a kayak. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more cool stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Stay the night at Country waye RV Resort; get yourself into a kayak and hit Rose River.
Hollow Trail gets a typical amount of
| yearly precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is the month with the least moisture. During the summer at Hollow Trail highs are typically in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Hollow Trail. This river is a wonderful place to visit. Shenandoah National Park is one of the destinations next to Hollow Trail that are wonderful to go to. There's so much to do here at Hollow Trail that you need to camp here for a while, The Country Place Campground is a good place for that.
