  Because Jackson Trail is very far from civilization It's always fun to hike here. Jackson Trail is a quite wet place frequently with much rain; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. Paddling on Ogle Creek is so much fun; swing by Dry Run it's a great place to explore.
For the period of the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Jackson Trail, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Jackson
    Trail tend to be in the 10's. There's so much to do here at Jackson Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Bolar Mountain Campground is a magnificent location for that; get soaked paddling on Jackson River.
If you came to camp McClintic Point Primitive Campground is
a good spot to do that, and a nice place to have a look at nearby is May Hollow. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Jackson Trail in Alleghany County, Virginia is just the place.
