Coming to this river is always a good idea. Brock Run is in the vicinity of Jackson Trail and is always a joy to take a look at; the scenery at Cool Spring Lake Dam is delightful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rappahannock River, and there's some flowing water nearby, Wash Branch is a stream you can stop by during your stay.
