| | While visiting this area in Virginia it's a good idea to go hiking too. Throughout the summer at Knob Mountain Trail temperatures are typically in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Knob Mountain Trail are in the 20's. Knob Mountain Trail is nice enough to spend more than a day at, The Country Place Campground is a nice local campground; a wonderful location to camp here at Knob Mountain Trail is Country waye RV Resort.

Ridge Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you feel like a little side trip, try Dripping Springs Hollow, and drift down the rapids of Shenandoah River - South Fork in a kayak. Pretty far from Winchester you find Knob Mountain Trail but it is a really good trail.
| Knob Mountain Trail is a good site of typical rain; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest.
If you haven’t been to Shenandoah National Park, you should schedule some time for it while you're here; get yourself into a kayak and hit Passage Creek.
