  Finally, hiking time is here again, and Laurel Prong Trail in Madison County, Virginia is a really good place to spend some time. Virginia is a good place for outdoors people. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Blue Ridge Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
Laurel Prong Trail is located quite a long drive from Charlottesville but hiking it is always fun. If you came for an overnight stay Lewis Mountain
    Campground is a great place to camp, and Laurel Gap is a glorious site to stop by. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is great! Heavenly Acres Campground is a delightful local campground, and why
not a little side spree to Bush Mountain Stream. While you're here at Laurel Prong Trail it's a magnificent idea to visit The Laurels. Big Rock Falls is a great local attraction, and you can run the rapids of Rapidan River. Bootens Run is a magnificent site to pop by, and you're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Stanley here. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's whitewater on Conway River for all you thrill seekers. A tour  
to Shenandoah National Park is recommended. An average amount of rainfall falls at Laurel Prong Trail. The wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most while January is typically the driest month. Summertime at Laurel Prong Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's.
