  Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and McFalls Ridge Trail in Botetourt County, Virginia is a perfect place for getting out. In Virginia you never run out of outdoors fun. That right there is plenty of cool things already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. Stay the night at Wonderful Life Campground; a magnificent site for whitewater paddling is North Creek. In the Blue Ridge Mountains there are many great hiking trails where wonderful nature is waiting for you.
Summer at McFalls Ridge Trail comes
    with high temperatures in the 80's; the overnight is slightly colder of course, typically in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for McFalls Ridge Trail. Powell Gap is a perfect place to pop by nearby, and if you're looking
for some flowing water? Try Little Cove Creek. McFalls Ridge Trail is not very near Roanoke at all but what a great place for hiking it is.
There's so much to do here at McFalls Ridge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Colon Hollow Shelter Campground is a tremendous place for that; getting to McCoglin Branch from McFalls Ridge Trail is easy. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Jennings Creek, and Booker T Washington National Monument is one of the destinations that are great to take a look at nearby. This is no site for
 
people who don’t like to have fun.
