| | Hiking here in Virginia is a must. At Mountain Top Trail all through the summer highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mountain Top Trail sink into the 10's. Mountain Top Trail is a reasonably wet place regularly with lots of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest month is February.

Mountain Top Trail is a glorious place to camp, Blowing Springs Campground is a glorious place, and get covered with water paddling on Back Creek - Jackson Tributary. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Mountain Top Trail in Bath County, Virginia is such a great place.
