There's so much to do here at North River Gorge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Todd Lake is a delightful location for that. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Little River - North R. Tributary;
    Daggy Camp Hollow is in the neighborhood, and is a perfect place. This ski area has it all. North River Gorge Trail is not far at all from Mount Solon; you can stay the night at North River Campground. Visit Skidmore Fork while you're
here at North River Gorge Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend North River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Staunton Dam is worth checking out since you're here. All through the long summer days at North River Gorge Trail temperatures are frequently in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's with temperatures at North River
