| | This part of Virginia is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. It's a long drive from Staunton-Waynesboro to Old Bridge Trail but trails like these are great. A quick visit to Guys Run in the neighborhood of Old Bridge Trail is a brilliant idea, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Calfpasture River.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Old Bridge Trail. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures |

at Old Bridge Trail dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. If you're here at Old Bridge Trail, you could take a look at Chinquapin Branch, and if you came to camp Long's Campground is a nice site to do that. Old Bridge Trail gets much water; July is when you get the most
| rain here, and the driest of the months is December.
Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Old Bridge Trail. There's so much to do here at Old Bridge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Sulphur Camp Ground is a glorious place for that. A glorious place next to Old Bridge Trail is Snead Hollow, and The Pastures is a delightful site to check out. Whitewater paddling is good on Laurel Run; do take a look at Goshen Dam while you're here.
