| | Gotta get out of the city man, and if you happen to be in Craig County of Virginia, Potts Mountain Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Hanging Rock Valley is right next door to Potts Mountain Trail and is a pleasant place, and there are some good whitewater spots on Johns Creek. The annual rainfall here at Potts Mountain Trail is about average; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is January.
