Riprap Trail is a trail quite far from Harrisonburg but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. There are many hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains, it's a great hiking area. For the period of the summertime months at Riprap Trail highs are ordinarily in the 80's; the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, frequently in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Riprap Trail.

Lefthand Hollow is a splendid site to take a look at in the neighborhood of Riprap Trail, and Riprap Trail is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Loft Mountain Campgrounds is a brilliant local campground. An average amount of rainfall falls at Riprap Trail; August is
| when you get the most rain here; the driest month is January. This site, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Moormans River is a wonderful whitewater spot close to Riprap Trail; camping at Misty Mountain Camp Resort is always a great experience.
Riprap Trail is not far at all from Harrisonburg. Virginia has so much to offer nature lovers.
