  You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Scales Trail in Grayson County, Virginia is a really good place to spend some time. Get covered with water paddling on Big Wilson Creek. There's so much to do here at Scales Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Hurricane Campground is a fine place for that. Virginia is a good place for outdoors people.

    if you go for the outdoors. Glide down the rapids of New River - South Fork in a kayak; of course Big Wilson Creek flows through this region. Near Scales Trail you discover tremendous places like Massie Gap.
Scales Trail commonly gets a great deal of rain; July is the wettest
