| | Staunton River Trail is not very near Charlottesville at all but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. Can’t wait to get out in nature, if you happen to be in Madison County of Virginia, Staunton River Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Staunton River Trail while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows at Staunton River Trail during the wintertime generally descend into the 20's.
