  Stony Run Trail is located quite a long drive from Harrisonburg but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. All through the summertime months here at Stony Run Trail, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Stony Run Trail temperatures fall to the 10's. Stony Run Trail gets a normal
    amount of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and January is when it's the driest.
Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Stony Run Trail in Page County, Virginia is a really good place to spend some time. Hiking in Virginia is such a great thing
to do. A wonderful site near Stony Run Trail is Weaver Hollow; whitewater paddling is great on Shenandoah River - South Fork.
Riverside Camping and Canoeing is a splendid campground nearby; Lewis Mountain Campground is a splendid local campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place.
Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. East Branch Naked Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and paddling on South River - Rapidan Tributary is so much fun. Some close by water includes West Branch Naked Creek, and don't miss out on a spree to Shenandoah National Park since you're here.
