There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. All through the summertime months here at Stony Run Trail, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Stony Run Trail temperatures fall to the 10's. Stony Run Trail gets a normal |

East Branch Naked Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and paddling on South River - Rapidan Tributary is so much fun.
