| | War Spur Trail is not very near Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford at all but It's always fun to hike here. Camping is available at New River Junction Campground; get yourself into a kayak and hit Stony Creek - New Tributary. An average amount of rain falls at War Spur Trail; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January.
While visiting this area in Virginia it's a good idea to go hiking too. You're sure to encounter some wonderful folks from Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford here; hey, Saltpeter Branch is |
a magnificent local stream. Why not camp at Interstate Overnight Park if you're here at War Spur Trail.
Through the summertime here at War Spur Trail, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime
