Wildcat Trail

  Wildcat Trail is not very near Lynchburg at all but it is a great escape from the city. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Wildcat Trail in Botetourt County, Virginia is the outdoors at it's best. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Blue Ridge Mountains, it's a great hiking area.
Virginia is a great place for hikers. Nearby Bear Hollow is a splendid site to go if you're at Wildcat Trail, and do take a look at Cornelius Creek while you're
    here at Wildcat Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Wildcat Trail is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Smith Tract Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby. People from Natural Bridge Station
love to come to Wildcat Trail, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a glimpse of at Cave Mountain Dam in close proximity to Wildcat Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Wildcat Trail has to offer, you can camp at Colon Hollow Shelter Campground. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jennings Creek. North Creek is a glorious whitewater spot in close proximity to Wildcat Trail. Summertime  
brings highs in the 80's to Wildcat Trail. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Wildcat Trail. Wildcat Trail regularly gets lots of precipitation.
