| | Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Green Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. This part of Vermont has a great deal of available outdoors activities. A long drive separates Barre from Beane Trail, but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable.
These mountains rock, just check out all the cool stuff to do in the Green Mountains. Beane Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Duxbury Campground is a wonderful local campground, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Huntington River. For the |

period of the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 80's at Beane Trail. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Beane Trail. Beane Trail gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation;
| all through August this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Ridley Brook, and Beane Trail is in close proximity to Appalachian Gap which is unquestionably worth stopping at. There's so much to do here at Beane Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Green Mt. Family Campground is a delightful site for that. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Beane Trail in Chittenden County, Vermont is such a great place.
