  In the Green Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. No chance of getting bored in Vermont if you like the outdoors. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Burnt Hill Trail in Addison County, Vermont is a perfect place for getting out. High temperatures at Burnt Hill Trail all through the summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Burnt Hill Trail.
There are some pleasant
    whitewater spots on New Haven River. Crystal Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting, and if you came to camp Moosalamoo Campground is a pleasant place to do that. There's so much to do here at Burnt Hill Trail that you need to camp here for a while, United
States Forest Service Mount Moosalamoo Campground is a great spot for that, and if you feel like a little side spree, try Middlebury Gap.
You'll have to go far from Rutland to get to Burnt Hill Trail but when you hike it you're always having a good time. Burnt Hill Trail gets a typical amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls through August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Be careful coming to the Green Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Some close by water includes Goshen Brook, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Middlebury River.
