| | Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Canty Trail in Rutland County, Vermont is a really good place to spend some time. This river is so great. Rutland City Forest is a nice local forest. There's so much to do here at Canty Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Hapgood Pond - Green Mountain National Forest is a good spot for that. During the months of summer highs here at Canty Trail get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Canty |
Trail. Hiking here in Vermont is a must. A great site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Canty Trail is Clarendon River, and if you came to camp Iroquois Land Family Campground is a brilliant site to do that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Canty
| Trail is located quite a long drive from Rutland but it is a good trail. Visit Brewers Brook since you're here at Canty Trail; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Mill River. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Green Mountains. Lefferts Dam is not far at all from Canty Trail, and at Canty Trail you always meet someone from Rutland. Hiking trails are all over the Green Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you. Canty Trail gets a typical amount of rain; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. | |
