  A large amount of rainfall falls at Deerfield Ridge Trail; most of the rain falls all through August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Whitewater paddling is fine on Deerfield River - East Branch.

tremendous place to camp here at Deerfield Ridge Trail is Red Mill Brook Campground; some of the water close by flows, like Rose Brook. Deerfield Ridge Trail is a trail quite far from Bennington but what a great place for hiking it is.
