  There are many hiking trails in the Green Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Falls of Lana Trail. If you're going to Falls of Lana Trail from Rutland, you won't be the only one. You can run the rapids of Middlebury River in the vicinity of Falls of Lana Trail, and do put some time aside to spend at Falls of Lana while you're here at Falls of Lana Trail.
Falls of Lana Trail is located quite a long drive from Rutland but it is a good trail. A nice spot for
    whitewater paddling next to Falls of Lana Trail is Otter Creek, and you don’t have to go far from Falls of Lana Trail to catch a sight of the water at Silver Lake Dam. So many entertaining things in the Green Mountains, just mind-boggling. Visit Sucker Brook while you're here
at Falls of Lana Trail, and you can stay the night at United State Forest Service Silver Lake Campground.
If you are in Vermont during hiking season you have to go hiking. Don't forget to take a nice little trip to North Branch Sucker Brook. There's so much to do here at Falls of Lana Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Point Counterpoint is a nice place for that.
