through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Trail. You'll have to go far from Rutland to get to Lake
| Trail but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Lake Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Why not camp at Campground B if you're here at Lake Trail; in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Branch. | |
