| | It's a long drive from Rutland to Little Michigan Trail but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Little Michigan Trail in Bennington County, Vermont is just what you need. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Branch, and folks from Rutland love to come here.

Little Michigan Trail is a nice spot to camp, Campground A is a nice spot, and do go to Griffith Brook if you're here at Little Michigan Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Little Michigan Trail. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Little Michigan Trail temperatures dip to the 10's.
