Hiking trails are all over the Green Mountains, it's a great hiking area. An average amount of rain falls at Loon Trail; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you're here at Loon Trail, you could stop at Maidstone Brook, and if you're going to from Berlin, you won't be the only one. That right     there is a lot of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Green Mountains has it all. Why not camp at Big Rock Campground and Store since you're here at Loon Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Nulhegan River. There's a tremendous forest near Loon Trail called Maidstone State Park, and there's whitewater on Israel River for all you thrill seekers. It's a pleasant idea to stop at Granby Stream, it's in the vicinity of Loon Trail, and camping at Loon Trail is splendid fun, Lancaster Kwik Stop and Truck Stop is a splendid local campground. Loon Trail is located quite a long drive from Berlin but trails like these are great. Be careful coming to Loon Trail, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Walker Dam is delightful and it's in close proximity to Loon Trail.   High temperatures at Loon Trail all through the summer months are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Loon Trail. With so many outdoors activities available in Vermont you'll never get bored.
