We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Mount Moosalamoo Trail in Addison County, Vermont is such a great place. High temperatures at Mount Moosalamoo Trail all through the summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Mount Moosalamoo Trail dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
You'll have to go far from Rutland to get to Mount Moosalamoo Trail but it is a fun place to hike |
for the whole family. Get drenched paddling on New Haven River, and you'll meet a lot of people from Rutland here. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Middlebury River; let's not forget Voters Brook which is a stream that you may run into while here.
