| | A visit to Vermont is not complete without some hiking. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Green Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. So much exciting stuff to do in the Green Mountains, not enough time. It's a glorious idea to visit Ball Mountain Brook, it's next to Railroad Bed Trail, and Ball Mountain Dam is beautiful.
It's a long drive from Bennington to Railroad Bed Trail but it is one of many great trails in this area. There's so much to do here at Railroad Bed Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Bald |

Mountain Camp Ground is a fine place for that, and whitewater paddling is good on West River. At Railroad Bed Trail during the summertime highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and winter
| nights come with lows in the 10's to Railroad Bed Trail.
Paddling on Ball Mountain Brook is so much fun; don't forget to take a brilliant little trip to Cobb Brook. Railroad Bed Trail gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. A short tour to Hamilton Falls is always worthwhile; if you came to camp Camperama is a magnificent location to do that.
Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, if you happen to be in Windham County of Vermont, Railroad Bed Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Just can't get enough of Railroad Bed Trail. | |
