Don't leave Slot Trail without first paying a visit to Little Cascade Falls, and lots of people from Lebanon come here. If you came to camp Mount Ascutney State Park Campground is a good place to do that, and camping at Running Bear Camping Area is always a fine experience. Connecticut River has a pleasant
whitewater paddling spot close by, and swing by Beaver Brook it's a fine place to stop at.
It's always great to go to Crystal Cascade Falls; if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors,
just come on down to Slot Trail. High temperatures at Slot Trail through the long summer days are in the 70's; the overnight is slightly colder of course, generally in the 50's.
