  Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and if you happen to be in Addison County of Vermont, Sucker Brook Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. And if that's not enough there's a heap more amusing stuff to do in the Green Mountains. During your trip to Sucker Brook Trail you'll meet some folks from Rutland for sure, and why not camp at Moosalamoo Campground since you're here at Sucker Brook Trail.
From a precipitation point of view Sucker Brook Trail is a relatively common spot; the
    wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. A visit to Vermont is not complete without some hiking. Middlebury River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and camping is available
at United States Forest Service Mount Moosalamoo Campground.
There are many hiking trails in the Green Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. It's a long drive from Rutland to Sucker Brook Trail but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Sucker Brook Trail. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Sucker Brook Trail temperatures drop to the 0's.
Whitewater paddling is perfect on New Haven River, and at Goshen Dam in close proximity to Sucker Brook Trail there are some interesting things to see.
