Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Green Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Mount Mansfield State Forest is a forest in the vicinity of The Long Trail that you can go to, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lamoille River. Put some time aside to spend at Big Spring if you're here at The Long Trail; since you're here,     you might as well explore Smugglers Notch. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at The Long Trail. Camping at Gold Brook Campground is always a fine experience. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Green Mountains. Bingham Falls is a wonderful local attraction, and a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Little River - West Branch. The Long Trail regularly gets a great deal of rain; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. The Long Trail is located quite a long drive from Burlington-South Burlington but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. The Long Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Brewster River Campground is a wonderful local campground, and there are   plenty of people from Burlington-South Burlington here. This part of Vermont has a great deal of available outdoors activities. Throughout the warm months here at The Long Trail, high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows at The Long Trail all through the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 0's.
