| | It's a long drive from Eau Claire to Hickory Ridge Trail but it sure is a nice trail. Gotta get out of the city man, and if you happen to be in Chippewa County of Wisconsin, Hickory Ridge Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Rock Lake Resort and Campground is a fine campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Chippewa River.
