You don’t have to go far from Ice Age Trail to catch a glimpse of the water at Dennis Gisvold E4894 Dam. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Ice Age Trail has to offer, you can camp at North Twin Lake Campground. Ice Age Trail gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
Many miles from the nearest city you have
    Ice Age Trail and when you hike it you're always having a good time. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Flambeau River - South Fork. The warmest time of the year at Ice Age Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows
in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Ice Age Trail.
If you come at the right time of year, Jump River - South Fork offers some glorious whitewater; Ice Age Trail is a great place to camp, Kathryn Lake Campground is a great place.
