Ice Age Trail

Ice Age Trail is a trail quite far from Wisconsin Rapids-Marshfield but trails like these are great. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Ice Age Trail in Taylor County, Wisconsin is a perfect place for getting out. Very fine water scenery is available at Dennis Gisvold E4894 Dam next to Ice Age Trail. Why not camp at Kathryn Lake Campground while you're here at Ice Age Trail. There are some nice whitewater spots on Jump River
    - South Fork, and if you came for an overnight stay North Twin Lake Campground is a good place to camp. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Yellow River. For the period of the long summer
days at Ice Age Trail temperatures are typically in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Ice Age Trail.
