There's so much to do here at Big Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Spruce Knob Lake Campground is a splendid site for that. Put some time aside to spend at Hendrick Farm Spring while you're here at Big Mountain Trail; swing by Cold Spring Run it's a fine place to visit. Big Mountain Trail is a wet spot that gets lots of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and February on the other hand is the driest.
