| | Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Big Run Trail with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Big Run Trail. Big Run Trail ordinarily gets a large amount of rain; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February.
Some of the water close by flows, like Big Run, and get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Cranberry River. If you came to camp Summit Lake Campground is a great spot to do that, and swing by Epling |
Run it's a wonderful place to visit.
There's whitewater on Little Kanawha River - Right Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and Big Run Trail is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Cranberry Campground is a delightful local campground. While visiting this area in West Virginia it's a good idea to go hiking too.
