West Virginia is a great outdoors state. This river is a wonderful place to visit. Flatrock Plains is a splendid spot, and a glorious site for whitewater paddling is Red Creek.
South Fork Red Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth checking out; Boars Nest Trail is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Red Creek Campground is a nice local campground. Why not visit |

close by Little Stonecoal Run while you're here at Boars Nest Trail; you can run the rapids of Red Creek. There's so much to do here at Boars Nest Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Seneca Campground is a good place for that, and Hoyt Pennington Spring is a delightful
| spot to stop at while you're at Boars Nest Trail.
Yeah, come here to Boars Nest Trail for a tremendous time. Boars Nest Trail frequently gets a great deal of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the long summer days at Boars Nest Trail highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Boars Nest Trail.
