| | Lake Sherwood Trail is in a quite desolate area and hiking it is always fun. If you came to camp McClintic Point Primitive Campground is a wonderful site to do that; there's whitewater on Jackson River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
At Lake Sherwood Trail through the summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's while Lake Sherwood Trail night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. There's so much to do here at Lake Sherwood |
Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Bolar Mountain Campground is a splendid place for that. Lake Sherwood Dam is not far at all from Lake Sherwood Trail, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Ogle Creek.
