Lick Branch Trail

  You'll have to go far from Oak Hill to get to Lick Branch Trail but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. Lick Branch is a good place to explore, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Williams River. Cranberry Campground is a tremendous campground nearby; in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cherry River - North Fork. Lick Branch Trail is a tremendous spot
    to visit for more than one day, Summit Lake Campground is a tremendous spot to camp nearby. Visit Queer Branch while you're here at Lick Branch Trail, and folks from Upperglade love to come here. Lick Branch Trail sees pretty high
levels of rainfall. The month with most of the rain is July while February is mostly the driest month. For the duration of the long summer days here at Lick Branch Trail, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lick Branch Trail.
