| | Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Park View Trail in Gilmer County, West Virginia is such a great place. Park View Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and hiking it is always fun. All the water falling down from the sky makes Park View Trail a wet place; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February. Through the summer at Park View Trail highs are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold |
winter nights at Park View Trail are in the 10's. Some of the water close by flows, like Bloody Run, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Birch River. Little Bull Run is a great site to take a look at. West Virginia is a good place for outdoors people.
