The high level of rainfall makes Park View Trail a pretty wet place; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Park View Trail in Gilmer County, West Virginia is a good choice. Park View Trail is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Flatwoods KOA is a tremendous site to camp nearby, and it's a tremendous idea to go to Bloody Run. |

Cedar Creek State Park is a nice local campground; while you're here, you could go to Little Bull Run. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Park View Trail. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Highs all through the wintertime are regularly in the 30's while
| the cold winter nights at Park View Trail are in the 10's. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Birch River. | |
