| | Perry Ridge Trail is in a quite desolate area and it sure is a nice trail. Big Rock Campground is a delightful campground here, and while you're here, you could stop at Music Run.
Summertime highs at Perry Ridge Trail frequently tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's; nighttime lows through the wintertime for Perry Ridge Trail tend to be in the 20's. Perry Ridge Trail is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest of the months is January. |
Hinkle Branch flows through this region, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Cranberry River.
Stay the night at Cranberry Campground; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Cherry River.
