| | West Virginia is a great outdoors state. Stonecoal Run is a great spot to visit, and if you came to camp Smoke Hole Campground is a brilliant place to do that. There's so much to do here at Red Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Red Creek Campground is a pleasant place for that; paddling on Red Creek is so much fun. Some of the water close by flows, like Fisher Spring Run; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Red Creek. Red Creek Trail mostly gets lots of rain; throughout July this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months |
is February. High temperatures at Red Creek Trail during the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Red Creek Trail.
