drive from Morgantown but it is a great escape from the city.
Shingle Tree Trail is a reasonably wet place usually with much precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout July; the driest month of the year is February. Mill Run is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out; you can stay the night at Alpine Shores Campground.
